I decided it was finally time to start back blogging. My last post was then I was about 22 weeks pregnant, awaiting the arrival of our baby girl, Grayson. Well she has arrived and we couldn't be happier. Isn't she the cutest thing ever???
I can't believe she is going to be 8 weeks tomorrow.
Her big sister Riley (2 1/2 now) is adjusting a lot better than we expected. Every week she's gotten better at saying her name. It has gone from Baby, Baby Gracie, and now Baby Grayson. I think what really helped our family adjust was that my husband took 4 weeks off work to help. We kind of tagged team the kids to make sure they were both getting the attention they needed. There were times when my hubby would be holding Grayson and Riley would say, "Mommy you hold baby" or "Mommy take baby". This seems to happen when Riley really wants her daddy's attention.
It's been hard to get photos of Riley and Grayson together. I can tell Riley has taken to her, but she gets close to her when she feels like it. She isn't cool with me making them take photos together. When ever she gets close to her I try to snap some photos. Yesterday morning I snapped this one.

Now that I'm getting back to blogging I think it's time to re-focus my blog. I never wanted to just write fluff posts about being a mom and make everyone believe everything is just rosey all the time. As a mom you realize it's not. There have been some days I've thought, "What have I gotten myself into" because I do get overwhelmed sometimes trying to juggle everything. In my header it mentions I will talk about the gifts of pregnancy and motherhood. I know and plan to share that not all those gifts are wonderful. When it comes to pregnancy I found some new resources and little fun things I never got to share. My blog will also be used to promote online shops that offer maternity and baby products. There are so many on the web. I like the idea of making shopping easier while showing support for Mompreneurs.
As a working mom, stay at home mom, first time mom, 2nd or 3rd time mom we don't have a lot of time to shop online. I know I can't spend hours online shopping for maternity clothes, the perfect tutu, hair bows, baby items, etc. I Heart Maternity.com puts a lot of these items in one place, making it easier to shop. I plan to list new items weekly.
